Park Street
School Counseling
I’ve had the privilege of working with students as a school counselor since 2016. I’m deeply committed to creating meaningful experiences, developing impactful programs, and fostering a safe, supportive environment where all students can thrive.
Intermediate school is a time filled with important transitions—adjusting to a new school, navigating evolving friendships, and gaining greater independence. School counseling programs play a vital role during this stage by helping students discover their strengths, grow in confidence, and work toward their future goals.
I’m excited to partner with the students, families, and community to help make this school year a successful and meaningful one. Together, we can support our students as they grow, learn, and thrive.
Here’s to a year filled with learning, growth, and joyful moments!
Mrs. Muse
School counselors are highly trained professionals with a master’s level education. In my role as a school counselor, I serve as an advocate for students to help ensure a positive and successful experience during their intermediate school years. I support students through individual counseling, small group sessions, and classroom lessons, focusing on academic success, social-emotional growth, and career development.
I collaborate closely with educators, families, and community partners to address the diverse needs of our students and enhance their overall achievement. My support includes a wide range of focus areas, such as:
Academic planning
Transition support
School Culture
Career awareness and exploration
Connecting families to community resources
Crisis Intervention
Communication and problem solving skills
Digital citizenship
Emotional regulation

Park Street Care Team
As the school counselor, I work to support all students at Park Street to help them have a successful intermediate school experience. I collaborate with educators, families, and the community to support the diverse needs of students and improve achievement.
As the school social worker, I provide targeted interventions and social emotional support to select students who would benefit from consistent support.
As a student success coach, I work with specific groups of students to overcome barriers to their education.
Students who would like to meet with Mrs. Muse, their school counselor, can do so by letting their teacher know, visiting the office, or sending an email directly to Mrs. Muse.
